Browsing antique stores is always the most wild fucking time. I found an insanely cursed Sean Connery Barbie in my favorite antique store which is nothing new there are like 20 super cursed dolls in that store but they sell men’s flannels for $12 so

The antique store with like 50 pocket dimensions underneath it is playing “What A Feeling” from Flashdance. There’s a giant bloody wooden tooth hanging from chains. This is so surreal

FYI I was using bloody as in there is red splatters on the roots of the teeth not the expletive

Shaggy Rogers is here and he has a giant beard

There is a Greco Roman helmet in one of the the pocket dimensions on top of a typewriter

THERE IS SECRET LIBRARY ???????

Trying to find exit. I’m actually starting to get anxious now.

Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Jules walked into silent hill

So I have absolutely been inside this specific antique store (unless this is a pocket dimension that exists in many places, the store I know of is in downtown tacoma, WA). It’s spooky as hell, you can’t ever find anyone working there (the one time I did find a clerk he looked like he hadn’t left this garbage mansion in years, his hair was ginger and way too long and way too crunchy), it’s always disturbingly quiet despite being on a main downtown street, and to leave you have to meditate on that desire to summon an exit less you be trapped forever. The floors are incredibly uneven with lots of ramps and rooms on a slope. The library is my favorite part. There’s chairs and shit hanging from the ceiling all over the place. There are several false doors and windows. The inside in undeniably larger than the outside. This place is filled with a miasthma of chaotic energy.

To heal your soul, I recommend going to Mad Hat Tea just around the corner which also has a very real Vibe but it is healing and calming to a magical degree. A classmate of mine said once she had a terrible cold and went to Mad Hat between classes and asked the woman to give her something good for colds, she drank it without question and immediately her cold was gone. Shit theres so many like, old-magic-aura areas in downtown Tacoma guys, it’s crazy.

I wanna visit this place… And kinda DON’T. I mean what If you leave but the wrong exit, everything SEEMS normal, but people start staring at you… Because; ‘What are you, like 3 years old?!… Stop THINKING so loud!!’

This is in Tacoma?!?! I need to go there.

side note: be wary on that salve, id advise not using it on infants or young children, despite what it says. at the very least, please do not add the 10 extra drops they recommend for kids under 10. they are often much more sensitive to them, and allergies are fairly common (i have one to teatree!!!). i really recommend doing a swatch on your wrist or anyone else’s you plan to use it on to make sure youre not allergic before you try it out as a salve!

no language should be mocked other than french

Birds is “oiseaux” in French.

No letter is pronunced the way it should.

And there are seven of them.

ITS PRONOUNCED “WAZO” AND YES, I WILL DIE MAD ABOUT IT

oiseaux hits every vowel in the french alphabet and manages to only be pronounced with 2 goddamn syllables

got vowels coming out the oiseaux

Anonymous asked: What kind of ink pens do you use for your traditional artworks?

nn-ee-zz:

Hello anon, here’s a list of what I use:

UniPin Fineliners - 0.05 and 0.1

image

I do the initial lineart with these and 0.05 for the really small details. They come in a set but I usually get them individually for 1 euro and smth each since I only use two.

Sakura Microns

image

I have a couple sets and use them to shade larger areas and make thicker strokes. 0.8 and 0.3 are my most used, alongside the Brush pen not pictured here. 3 (not 0.3, careful with the numbers! buying the wrong pen sucks) is also great for filling large spaces for those who aren’t into brush pens or feel like they’re harder to control. Also, if you manage to get a set with 0.05 and 0.1 you can stratch the first items of this list. They feel and make pretty much the same strokes. My current set (6 pens) was around 12 euros.

PilotChoose Gel pen in white

image

What would I do without my white pen?!?? Crucial for adding small details and great to make patterns against entirely black spaces. I had another of a different brand (Hybrid Gel Grip) which had similar effects. Both gel pens, both in white. I’m unsure if there are better brands since it’s difficult for me to come by white pens but these do the trick. Both were less than 2 euros. Word of advice, only use the white pen after you let your black ink ‘’dry’’ for a while or else both inks will mix and the white won’t be as opaque. Have patience!

Koi Coloring Brush Pens - Gray Set

image

Not crucial at all (I’ve only got mine 6 months ago) but some of my ink drawings have grey shading and this is what I use for it. This exact set, tbh. They blend nicely with one another and give drawings extra depth. This set is around 10 euros.

Here are the pens I use the most! Mind that I didn’t purchased them all at once and have been slowly collecting them within the span of 2 years! I started with only a 0.1 and a white pen in my sketchbook. So before you jump into buying bigger sets, try working with only those two pens to see if you like the feel. It took me an entire sketchbook filled with ink drawings to figure out what style I wanted so be patient as well. Good luck
